I don't really consider any of those albums I've heard up there to be bad
They just don't live up to what those artists are capable of..
Lasers is really pushing that line for me.. that production was really bad to me...
I listen to Kingdom Come occasionally, I genuinely like that album.. I play about 4-5 off Nastradamus
And Year Of The Dog gave us Blown Away
That reminds me, I need to add that to my playlist

I remember reading that Jay recorded most of KC while he was on tour overseas, like he would do a concert and record music after the concert. I wonder if this played a part in the album being subpar.

stillmatic came out more than 2 years after nastradamus.
nas was dead in the water.
i remember "hip-hop is dead" being trash.
street's disciple is a double album full of averageness. the audacity of him making a double cd out of that, just makes it trash off of GP.
i guess we're not grading "distant relatives".

probably the worse album from one of my favorites artist
At that moment in time I did somewhat enjoy lasers for what it was, but I haven’t gone back to that album since that year it came out.
Funny fact, I have yet to listen to kingdom come in it’s entirety simply because I despise, “Show me what you got” so much. Lost ones and The prelude are the only other songs I’ve heard.

Hip Hop is dead is far from trash, it has couple average songs a lot of good ones. I think people forget it’s a concept album, and these two songs are some of the best in his catalog.
