Even Hulk's base level strength is far above what Luke can do. A punch from Hulk at his base level would probably knock Luke a few blocks away. Just look at what Diamondback was able to do to Luke with power armor.

I will say though that Defenders made it clear that we really haven't seen how powerful Luke really is after Stick put him on blast for holding back.

They have met. Although to your point, Hulk got no offense in during this short fight. And we are in agreement about the show. And that's honestly been my larger point. His power feels reduced in the show. This isn't the same Luke that slept Rhyno or beat Doom into submission(remember that). Idk man but his power level definitely off

I mean I still can't get around to understanding how much of a dumbass Danny Rand is. It's like the nikka is a parody. How u train with monks which is ALL about discipline, humility and patience. But have literally ZERO discipline, humility or patience. It's just mind boggling.

This is "young" Danny Rand. Also I guess him not being able to save the people of kun lung is fukking with his head he's been feeling guilty since his own series. Of course he has no patience that guilt is weighing on his head. I don't think people understand that Danny is torn to being the iron fist and between just wanting to be a regular guy, also he never finished his training. I cut him alot of slack I do think he has room for massive improvement as far as acting and fighting. The writers need work...

Luke is holding back because he's not even sure of just how strong he is. However, he knows he's clearly more than strong enough to kill regular humans without even trying. He's practically a pacifist.

Kinda realized it during the bar fight on Jessica Jones. First i was at how casual the fight looked how there was little to no effort. Then you remember the backstory on how Jesssica killed his wife with a single punch and she's small.

So imagine what a dude who is already buff can do on top of having super strength.

Luke still doesn't match base Hulk. Luke isn't even stronger than Colossus or Grimm. He's a notch above Spidey levels. He's somewhere with average Asguardian levels.

A notch above Spidey levels would be about base Hulk level tho, lol.

This is MCU spiderman showcase of strength and if Luke is even stronger than that, then there's your answer.

Luke is obviously not strong enough to completely overpower the Hulk, but he could cause Hulk some pain just thru tests of strength alone (via punching or throwing objects large enough or hard enough to damage him, whereas someone like Wolverine can't physically stand toe-to-toe with Hulk from just a strength standpoint, but his claws and durability/healing allows him to contend with him for a minute).

Shyt was fun, would've been great with the right villains - that's really where it lacks.

They either always intended Iron Fist to be a naive dumbass OR they took all the criticism and worked it into his actual character - either way, it kind of worked imo.
