You don't sign long term with a team to lose, you sign cause you feel like changes can be made and the team can improve to an eventual contender/eventual champion.
Ask me back in the day if the GS Warriors, Baltimore Ravens, KC Royals, Chicago Whitesox, Red Sox (3x), Cubs, (shyt, even Leicester City won the Premiere League
) could've won and I would'a said NO. But those teams made changes and won, Calvin was just hoping for the same thing, you can't really blame him for signing long term. The build around him just never came I applaud that brother for getting out with money, health, and his youth.
