My Ideal Idea Of “Working Out” Is Running 3-4 Miles, 4 Days A Week With The Occasional Long Run Mixed In Somewhere Once In A Blue

Sometimes I’m On Top Of It, Sometimes I’m Not But I Enjoy Running And Even Do Occasional Races In My City

My Wife Also Runs, And Does Races, She’s 32

And This Past Weekend My 4 Year Old Son Just Participated In His 2nd Race. It Was Just 100 Feet But We Want To Introduce Him To The Lifestyle, He Loves All The Hype Of Race Day

It’s downhill from 35??

I thought it was around 45 where your body starts slow down and you really feel the aches

Ya'll better than me doing OMAD. I gotta eat :pachaha:What's your one meal look like?
it seems crazy before you start doing it...
...now I dont see how folks are eating 3 meals a day.

Im not strict OMAD though

I do a 16/8 IF routine

snack on pistachios/cashews (maybe some fruit) during the day...
...if im hungry after a workout ill eat some eggs with some sort of meat.

my meals generally have a lot of fat...keeps you feeling full.

This week ive been making a salad with ground turkey/beef, guacamole, cheese, salsa, greek yogurt

The Truth
I take breaks

Basically, how do you know we not working out?

I just restarted working out, all light/high rep

Intense rowing 10-30 minutes per day on top of rope pulldowns for about 250-400 reps as cardio.

Body is breaking down it feels. Got to be more careful now

Late 30's, I still workout 3-4 times a week. I can't afford to be lazy now that my metabolism isn't what it used to be. I built a small home gym during the early stages of the pandemic and it really comes in handy now that I have a baby to take care of. I still get to my local gym 1-2 times on the weekend.

I can't wait until the little man is old enough to start lifting, I'm gonna make sure he doesn't make the same mistakes I did when I started. I started training at 13, but didn't actually train properly until I was 16.

All becomes secondary to supporting the kids and family :yeshrug:
Can't support your kids/family if you're dead/disabled from health problems

:francis:

Matter if fact, a healthy fit individual is more likely to be seen as a leader and recieve business opportunities/raises/promotions. You can also work more effectively when your body is in shape. You get tired less easily etc.

You should also do a series of stretches every morning.

Visit a physiotherapist for some examples.
