Yeah he said his accountant stole his money during his 3rd year in the league.
Let new money entertainers tell it, that’s who be beating them the most

That’s damn near the main cause for why a lot of people go broke, like I don’t even know how folks can really trust people, but at the same time technically they are being responsible with a paid for accountant/financial advisor

He last played for the Lakers, was his tenure there that bad? I remember dude was still getting busy for the Knicks the year prior.

I know he caught covid early on, but I wondered why he never got another shot in the league after the bubble

I'm not disputing this, but given how often we hear from athletes and celebrities that their accountant stole the money, my assumption would be we'd get more news articles or reporting about accountants being convicted of theft. I can't remember hearing about anyone doing that except for I think Christian Laetner.

If you can definitively say they stole from you why aren't they being convicted?

From what I’ve heard they give a lot of their lawyers and accountants the power to make decisions with their accounts. So technically it’s not stealing. It seems like putting someone on your bank account then they take all the money out.

Yeah

It’s crazy because tim Duncan loss over $20 million dollars do to his advisor and said he didn’t know until his divorce…

It’s crazy how these nikkas be giving agents/advisors full authority over their money and they not looking at their accounts every fukking day..

nikkas have time to party, chase hoes, clown around, but u can’t spend 2 hours a day looking at your accounts, setting up your accounts that every thing thats being purchased, authorized out my accounts im being notified first..

And in this era face time
