I'm not disputing this, but given how often we hear from athletes and celebrities that their accountant stole the money, my assumption would be we'd get more news articles or reporting about accountants being convicted of theft. I can't remember hearing about anyone doing that except for I think Christian Laetner.

If you can definitively say they stole from you why aren't they being convicted?

Cause they don’t be getting robbed, they be getting finessed.

And most these situations stem from players being irresponsible and lacking financial discipline. Blaming a financial advisor is the go to excuse they gonna go to, but even when that is the case the players are being extremely negligent in regards to their own finances.

I understand what he's saying, but it's all over the place. His life story could be a full-blown movie, but it would take a skilled writer, a psychologist, and someone from the streets to really unpack the layers of his emotions. He's constantly starting and stopping, which makes it hard to follow.

From what I’ve heard they give a lot of their lawyers and accountants the power to make decisions with their accounts. So technically it’s not stealing. It seems like putting someone on your bank account then they take all the money out.
