Yup it’s usb my job doesn’t do keystroke tracking
Man if they did keystroke tracking that is just authoritarian and time to find another job smh. If I'm typing for only 2 or 3 hours a day and getting all my work done it shouldn't matter. Dont punish workers for being more efficient smh

At my company it's going to be interesting to see if they actually turn this "feature" on. What's good for the goose is good for the gander. There are a lot of the higher ups that preach about working in the office but you never see them. I've seen entire floors that are half empty on days that people should be in the office. And this includes the corner offices. I have a feeling that a number of people won't be aware of this feature. They aren't up on tech news like a lot of us. And the bosses will play dumb and act like it doesn't exist while they lobby even higher, higher ups to not turn it on because of morale....or culture....or some other bullshyt. But it'll mainly be because they don't want to get their asses exposed.

What makes this worst, is they're renovating my officer and removing all the big walls dividing the cubicals. Instead of having at least a 6x6 space to yourself, your work area is a ~5ft desk with your cowork literally facing you on their 5ft desk and 2 other ones to your left and right.

Thank God most of my work is in the field.

They can run a whole report to see how often you have each app open. Happened at my work when they wanted to see if they could get rid of some adobe licenses.

People are fired regularly for not logging in close to their start time.

how would that work when I'm connected to the VPN. I'm always at work location ...

either way we as long as we WORK on the working days it doesnt matter where we work.

Well, if you're connecting to your workplace's VPN, it logged where you connected from. This new Teams thing is just giving employers a lazier way for your PC snitch on you than the several methods they were likely already using.

My company already does this.. 3 days in the office 2 at home.

There are people that just swipe their badge then leave the office after like 20 minutes.

They are monitoring it more closely by checking if you are connected to the office WiFi or on VPN.

I go in at 8 and leave at lunch around 1-1:30 lol. Beat afternoon traffic :ahh:

This is the cheat code. There have been times I've swapped an in office day to Friday, when I know next to no one's there, show up 6, and dip out to finish the day at 1000. Minimal traffic either way, and I don't have to deal with the usual in office bullshyt since there's no one there. :wow:
