be you, brehs :wow:

I'm just saying I don't think you realize how heavy this shyt is, both ways. Maybe its because I've been in middle of it that my take is different.

On 1 side you could have university, police, teachers, coaches, and players all covering (either reluctantly or otherwise) for their star player raping someone. And for that girl, she has no support, no ear, no voice, nothing. If her name becomes attached with the case, her life can be ruined forever.

However, on the flip side, you can have students (players) who have false charges levied against them and they instantly become tried in the court of public opinion and unless they take a stand, the risk all of their reputations being ruined forever.

To say that we support rape culture because we are not as willing as you are to condemn them without a shred of evidence is honestly just as damaging as what you are accusing everyone else of doing :yeshrug:

there is a difference between waiting for more information and not taking a position versus creating a thread with "#HOH" in the title and calling the woman a hooker and all the other inflammatory language in this thread.

I don't know about this one. The Missouri players had a legit cause but they're defending teammates who ran a train some girl and almost got caught up in a sexual assault:francis:

:comeon:

10 football players vs 1 girl when sexual assaults are in the public eye because of schools like Baylor sweeping them under the rug. There's no problem with a coach suspending those players to send a message. They need to avoid a PR nightmare.

Not really. First it was 4-5 players initially. Long story short those cats apparently ran a train on her, then she reported rape. Police didn't feel like they had enough evidence to even arrest them or bring any charges. She got a restraining order on them for a mn and because she's supposedly a cheerleader or someone that works at the stadium they couldn't play in home games for 1 or 2 games. The order got lifted, the prosecuters dropped the case and refused to bring charges, and both sides (her and the players) agreed to not sue the other which is rare. THEN after all that, the university's EOAA or whatever came in, said they'd conducted an investigation and recommended that all the guys initially accused be expelled and then named like 5 other players that were supposedly just in the same building at the time be suspended for a year. Thats why the players are pissed. Basically they see it as their teammates were accused but proven innocent (in their eyes) by the law and then this organization steps in and says screw that we say you're guilty PLUS 5 other players that were just in the area at the time. On top of that the AD and nobody else will actually answer any questions because this whole thing hinges on some 82 page report that they won't tell them

These schools are really fukking up. There's a kid that went to Colorado state that just got expelled and the girl herself said there was no rape.

Basically dude had MULTIPLE sexual encounters with one of the teams trainers. He took her on a date to the movies and when they pulled up to her apartment she gave him head in the parking lot. Apparently one of her roommates saw it and she was a bit embarrassed. A couple days later she invited him back to her apartment and they had sex. She even told him she wasn't on birth control and he should wear a condom. Then the next day her friend saw a hickey on her neck and some how came to the conclusion that she was raped and reported it to the school. Then the next day an investigation happened in which she told the guy that she told the investigators that he was a good guy and there was no rape. That same day she said she told investigators that, she went to his apartment and had sex with him AGAIN. The guy's roommate said he opened the door and saw the encounter take place and she was on top of him [smh at the peeping ass rommate].

Some way some how after all of this they still expelled him, because at one point on their 2nd sexual encounter before he put on condom, he may or may have not penetrated her [he says he didn't and she says he did, however even with her saying he did, she said she told him to stop which he did, he put on a condom and she was cool with continuing].

‘I’ve been running around all day talking to so many people, trying to make things right!!! One of the other Athletic Training students screwed me over! … She went behind my back and told my AT advisor stuff that wasn’t true!!! I’m trying so hard to fix it all. I want to tell you what’s going on. Please!”

First and foremost, I respect Hookers.... :hubie: Second, that was an homage to Ice Cube.... #nappydugout........ and the police stated that there was footage of the incident that clearly showed that there was no objection on her part and she was in complete compliance with the participants of the triz......... hence, no charges filed........ I don't know what you would aptly call a chick that's down for a train......

One, that isnt right on many levels.

Two, and this is critical, when someone is being sexually assaulted they often don't put up any fight. They are distant and away from the moment.

I dont know what happened there, and unfortunately we never will know. But I don't like using that as a reason.

uhh...this aint necessarily the cause to be boycotting for. whether it was consensual or not, aint too many people gonna feel sympathy for "runnin a train" fukkery
Exactly what I said and these dudes acting like they dont get it.

Like a bunch of random folk are gonna feel outraged that some dudes ran a train and got suspended for it.'

Act like players protesting for their freedom to run trains are civil rights heroes brehs :skip:

Thanks for the info. They're justified if 5 players who had nothing to do with it got suspended. The other 5 have to hold the L.
