I haven't seen the video and don't know what happened here, or am saying this happened. What I am saying is we need to understand why people act certain ways when they are being attacked.

I don't deny rape culture exists and I certainly don't deny the things I don't understand about rape. But every case isn't rape. That's why I quoted the investigator's comments on the video. She was aware, playful, not objecting, conciously aware of the sexual activity, and does not indicate that she wants it to stop. Appears entirely consensual.

The problem with what you quoted, and what we as men are taught (and its mostly men), is that we don't ask for it. We wait for it to "appear" to be good instead of getting confirmation.

I think student Atheletes have to sign contracts that don't allow them to do anything that misrepresents the school. The are representatives of their university and colleges. If there is a contract that they signed saying that can't do it....
