that depends on:

sleep
nutrition
ethic in the gym(form, intensity, etc)

starting light is necessary for new lifters, but for experienced you should set it lower, the idea is the lower you set, and the smaller the incremental progression the farther you should go before you peak

but it has diminishing returns

as long as im maintaining the most muscle possible and cutting fat im not too concerned with not gaining an incredible amount on my lifts, since thats what bulking is for of course. i'll keep going wit small uppage of weight and see where it takes me, i know its not like im close to maxing out so i should be good, just gotta keep upping the intensity every session :rambo:

youd be surprised how much strength you can gain even while cutting

youll jsut stall much quicker than if you were in surplus

Fat can't turn into muslce, they're very diff structures. What you're thinking of is reducing fat and increasing muscle which can be achieved with proiper dieting, calisthenics and weight lifting.

this is only possible when you are extremely obese or are relatively new to lifting

Got cleared to get back on my HIIT grind two weeks back, been incorporating that back into my routine, the difference is immediately evident.

Don't make the mistake of going too hard in order to compensate for slacking, that shyt will fukk you up.

Last week this shorty left a bag of halloween Hershey mini bars at my crib... I ate 3 of 'em.
