This ain't about impatience, it's about strategy, nah they don't have to listen to a single thing I'm talking about (seeing how I'm not even talking to them) but if someone goes on TV and says the movement is a bunch of bots, and people believe it cuz you pretty much have almost NO real world references to point to, after years of being online, then who's fault is that?

I haven't said shyt about Africans or Caribbeans the entire thread. I'm just talking as someone that's participated in REAL LIFE activism and organizing, not this youtube/twitter shyt Yvette and Tone do. Social media is a great leverage but at some point you have to get outta the basement and actually engage people organize events and rallys, groom candidates, hold a townhall meeting, something.
Yvette and Tone are 'mad' but ultimately they need to be mad at themselves. They've spent years talking to a camera for the portion of people willing to seekout their agenda, so to be mad that someone said you're "bots", and respond by going to youtube/twitter YET AGAIN rather than demand a slot on the show is fukking silly and funny style.

This whole ADOS thing makes me very angry. Culturally I grew up black American. Went to black schools, learned about black history, embraced black culture, have started non profits with my sister to help black kids in the goo etc.
All to have some chick who is married to a white lesbian attack me and demonize my people to the point that she wants to ban people like me from even coming into the country.

What the fugg movement are you talking about? I don't listen to no damn Yvette whatever her name is or Tariq somebody or another. So I am not writing about know damn movement. I defined who African Americans were and the ways White people have attempted to avoid making African Americans whole.
The issue of reparations have been in the Civil Rights platforms for over a century; long before any of these new wave folks came along. Hell the USA even paid reparation to the British after the American Revolution and USA paid the South reparations after the Civil War. The USA rebuilt Japan and Germany, but still refuses to address reparations to a large group of it citizens that the government took overt steps to subjugate and through the force of law continue to harm till this very day.

No one is saying that you are not a Black American. I am in agreement with you. You are a Black American. I am saying that you are not an African American if you ancestors were not enslaved in the USA or British North America. This is an issue of ethnicity, not color; because an African American is someone within a defined group. If my parents are African Americans and I grew up in Nigeria or Jamaica I would be Black just like the Nigerians and Jamaicans, but that would not make me a Nigerian or a Jamaican; because we would be different ethnically.

1. Most African immgrants that come here are either middle or upper class in there home country.
2. Those same immgrants come here and piggyback for those opportunities ment for poor AADOS.
3. African immgrants are having more financial success in America then actually black Americans aados.
4. African American rank at the bottom of every financial category their is, but the success of african/west Indian Black's success are masking AADOS failure.
5).If that failure is being masked, AADOS will continue to fall through the cracks without government entervention.
6). African immigrants speaking down on AA's via television, think peice articles, is definitely not helping the situation.
White women have benefited more from Affirmative Action than any other group. Asians are able to secure minority loans and contracts. They own all the businesses in black neighborhoods but it’s African immigrants who are the real problem.
