Yeah. And there are many reasons for it one including that when I become a father i want to teach my sons the importance of sexual discipline and not just sticking your penis into any woman you can. I don't want to be a hypocrite, and also with many of the problems the world is facing as a result of irresponsible sex, I want to be the example that I wanna see out there.

It's obviously a man thing. I don't necessarily place men who are able to bed a lot of wome on a pedestal, but I can recognize that they are seen as more valuable (in whatever way) to women than men who aren't necessarily out there sleeping with a lot of women.

Having sex with a lot of women does not make you more of a man in my opinion. I do however respect the skills needed to bed a lot of women, as it is a skill that needs to be developed and maintained.
A lot of guys do look up to men that can seduce many women though. They aspire to be like these men, me not so much.

I believe it's a mix of societal programming and lust. Like James Bond is glamorized for how easily he can seduce many women. I don't know if this is a result of porn, but most if not all of us men have a biological urge to have sex with lots of different women. Different body shapes, sizes, races, skin tones, looks ie hair color, personalities, energy, attitude etc.That seems to place women in an uncomfortable situation then.
Accumulating them and developing "skills" to obtain/maintain them....to what goal/end? and what are these "skills"?
Increased self esteem?....increase of social rank among other similar men?
You cant use a woman to get a degree....she cant lift your weights at the gym....the bank wont accept her as payment for a house....she cant get you a raise at your job
