any shots + keeping possession will stop the strategy. so 1 is fine by me

The league is emphasizing having the game move at a smoother faster pace. Getting rid of this strategy is one way to do that.

if the foul was away from the play give the freethrow shooter an extra shot if he misses the first two shots? i have no idea

If its intentional foul off the ball make it three free throw attempts, i mean the percentages are still against that player but it helps increase the possibility that the strategy wont be as effective without letting the bad free throw shooters off the hook

it doesn't matter. A win's a win. When did style points matter? That's why Pop doesn't give a shyt how you feel. He's trying to win games. You're trying to be entertained. It's not the coach's fault if the two can't coexist for you.

Besides, the way shyt is going now, it's a rule that's only gonna protect a few guys who suck at free throws. Why are we trying to bail out the Drummond's and Jordan's of the world when big men are otherwise improving from the line?
