I hope they come up with some good stuff.

I already loathe paying this cable bill since I don't watch A LOT of TV, but the main reason I got cable is for sports:pachaha:
I have kept Verizon Fios for this purpose. My internet is $79.99 and cable is $89.99 for premium.

It's mainly sports, sometimes news, and some of the channels that have shows that I can just log in with Verizon vs. paying a separate subscription fee.

Damn, NBA TV was legit the only reason I switched from Sling to YouTube TV a few years ago and now it's gutted lmao
Is gutted really bad? Other than the games that channel was ass. They refused to show older classic games consistently & give insight on the current league. It was basically live games & replaying the same highlights for the remainder.

Hopefully they achieve at mixing things up

I never thought that it was popular/relevant, but I liked their coverage more than ESPN. Every league has a channel, so I doubt that it will be going away.

Most of the Warner people avoided having hot takes for the sake of having hot takes. They did have some really good programming like the shaq & kobe interview and the open court series. I'm not a fan of the league running the network because they may try to limit criticism of the league. How much pressure did Silver apply to ESPN in order to get them to release Mark Jackson & JVG?
Open court was a really good series

Only time NBA TV was relevant was 25 years ago when they were showing hardwood classics, reruns of NBA Inside Stuff, and old VHS ish like Come Fly With Me and MJ’s Playground

^^^I’m talkin the dark ages (years before YouTube) where the only way to watch old games or even basic highlight reels was them or ESPN Classic, with your VCR and blank VHS tapes on standby to record:mjlol:

Ofc now all that ish can be found on YT and the novelty of seeing old ish is long gone.

And in the past 10 years? Ain’t no one gonna miss Dennis Scott, Steve Smith, or Brandon Haywood
