Underated post. What makes it even worse is these kids have basically a year round obligation to their football program. Johnny Football cant even step outside in the offseason w/o ppl snapping photos. They can't even get jobs with all the offseason practices, training and camps they go 2. Students on an academic scholarship can do whatever they want.If I'm at school on academic scholarship I'm not prevented from earning elsewhere
i'm all ears.. tell me how you'd pay everyone fairly
did you even read my post? I CLEARLY stated that "everyone WON'T be paid fairly and the system will be based off capitalism where your're paid based on skill and worth." Basically, with this system, we are talking about the payments of football athletes and basketball athletes because these are the main money-maker programs. If an Athlete is performing at certain tier-level, they are paid a certain percentage of money made from the events they participate in or money made from their "likeness or name," (basically from video games or jersey sales, etc.). The lower down the scale you go, the lower your percentage is because realistically, you're not generating shyt.Underated post. What makes it even worse is these kids have basically a year round obligation to their football program. They don'tso where female athletes fall into all this at
They don't
The NCAA is stuck in between a rock and a hard place. Most of the top power conferences are in favor of breaking away into a new division and paying players. No matter how powerful the NCAA may be, they are holding back institutions that have billion dollar endowments and boosters pumping money into their school's programs like it's nothing. If anyone is going to blink first it is more than likely going to be the NCAA.
so where female athletes fall into all this at
