you were trying to compare Kendrick to his peers in terms of memorable music, right?

Replace "Blessings" and "IDFWU" with "0 to 100" and "10 Bands"
i DIDNT WANT TO BULLY HIM WITH DRIZZY
So I went light on him. That's a clearer example. But i stand by what i said. Blessings and IDFWU will outshine TPAB singles historically

:russ:

Fair point. Though, when you try to go light on these stans, they'll turn around and assume you came with the strongest possible example.

Big Sean is just as disposable as Kendrick to me, so I can't really call it breh.

I'm not a huge big sean fan either. But my point was this guy whom isnt shoved down our throats as much as kendrick, actually is making more impactful singles despite.
Care less about both though

No radio singles? Does he have a major record deal? are his songs being marketted on radio. Is he getting time slots on talk shows and award shows?

:comeon:
Please don't act like you don't know what I meant by "radio singles".

Do Kendrick's songs sound like anything else on the radio?

Do Big Sean's?

I think you know the correct answers.

A lot of the music that's hot at the moment will be forgotten in a few years. GKMC and TPAB will not. Simple as that.

I think Kendrick just isn't for you, which is fine. The fact that you're trying so hard to convince others he's wack is a testament to the man's greatness. Music should be divisive.

I knew EXACTLY what you were saying and I thought it was some sucka shyt that you tried to play that card.
nikkas always making excuses
Kendrick is getting a eminem 50 cent like push but you want to make excuses for him,naw you cant get that off breh.
There's plenty of nikkas over the years that didnt make songs geared toward the radio" despite that they became staples of the time periods they came out in.
Songs like slippin and what's my name by dmx.
Songs like hail mary and dear mama by 2pac.
nikkas love to make excuses.
AND OUTRIGHT PRETENDING
This wasnt made for the radio, lmao?

See i debate for fun,but im wise enough to know most of ya'll are not truth seekers and just want to satisfy your emotions by stanning whomever you stan.

:jawalrus: We'll have to wait and see.

I'm pretty confident that two of the most critically acclaimed hip hop albums of the past decade will be remembered for a little while though :myman:
Acclaimed by whom though?
Kendrick's force fed media presence is nowhere to be found amongst the general public especially black people.

Making excuses for him? I don't recall making any excuses for anybody. Just stating facts.

You have a decent point about "I", 'cept for the fact that the studio version wasn't used for the album and the live version was used for an interlude more or less. Needless to say, I was ecstatic that the album did not sound like that. And yes, I do believe that song was geared towards radio, although it STILL sounded like nothing else at the moment.

DMX and 2Pac didn't have machines behind them? My exact point is that Kendrick is one of those artists that you're talking about. Somebody who makes songs that aren't geared towards radio but still achieve mainstream success by just making dope music. Thank you for strengthening my point.

I just don't know where y'all standards are at for this hip hop shyt if Kendrick isn't one of the best doing it right now.

Saying he didnt have radio songs when "I" clearly is one, wouldnt be a "FACT" IN fact it's a bold face lie.
I'm saying none of kdots songs meant what those dmx and 2pac songs meant to the general public.
Nor is kdot anywhere near as big a star as X or pac was. Despite his push.
Those songs by X and pac had the hood on smash.
Young thug is more popular in the black community than kendrick. As is meek mill,as is big sean,as is ross as is fab.
kdot is one big front
