The Miami GP has aired on ABC in all four years of its existence, preempting the network’s usual NBA playoff coverage each time. The decision to air F1 over the NBA likely cost ABC around five or six million viewers; Lakers-Timberwolves Game 4 averaged 7.35 million in the same window a week earlier, and that figure would likely have been surpassed by Warriors-Rockets Game 7. Instead, that game aired on TNT and averaged 6.63 million.

My Pops Forever RIP
I would think so, Breen and Eagle have called Knicks and Nets for decades with their national work. Besides Kenny Albert, idk how Ian juggles Nets, NFL on TV and radio, CBB, and TNT (soon to be Amazon) every year.
Grady and Ros do some Liberty games together as well. He's gonna be one of those announcers who never takes much time off.

I was afraid they would do that smh, they could easily hire someone to do it who can invoke a similar feel and style. At least the family gets a good payout for that.
That's lame. They could've found someone who sounds similar to Fagan to do the voice over.
Why would they do that when the literally can get the exact voice from previous productions that they own to do it?

"Invoke a similar feel and style"
:mjlol:

Vs the exact feel and style through AI

:dead:
Because it’s not him, it’s only his voice through AI. I enjoyed hearing Jim Fagan’s voice on the NBA on NBC back in the 90s, but this wasn’t the nostalgia play needed. AI has we have seen in numerous ways is a dangerous and/or cheap way companies use. Mitch Phillips did some VO work on the NBA on NBC, he easily could’ve been used for this instead of AI Jim Fagan.

NBC is doing what a lot of idiots wanted, which is to seemingly put us in a time warp.

Bet money that if it's anyone other that Prudential sponsoring the halftime report, someone's gonna point it out and bytch about it.
I’m surprised no one has said to use another Tesh song for starting lineups
