That sucks

NBC is doing what a lot of idiots wanted, which is to seemingly put us in a time warp.

Bet money that if it's anyone other that Prudential sponsoring the halftime report, someone's gonna point it out and bytch about it.
It's a 22 second clip with minimal speaking in it. No words after the 15 second mark.

I don't have an issue with it and it's not close to being a deal breaker or ringing the ethical/moral alarm over.

Special contributor could mean he is giving NBC the green light to use his likeness via AI... like that Gatorade commercial campaign he was "in" recently

The weird ai promo usage aside, gotta say NBC is doing all the right things in making NBA telecasts a must watch event every week. Paying John Tesh and Jordan, bringing back player introductions before games, primetime games on network tv on non weekends :blessed:

I ain't talking about ethical issues--although I have a lot, his family/estate signed off on it to keep checks coming so I can;t be mad--there is no emotion in the voice. No excitement. Its dry.

It's not the best I've came across, but I'm sure they'll tailor it and move some sliders based on the feedback they get

It also could be something they just scrap entirely now that people know about it.
