SAN ANTONIO SPURS NY DIVISION
The way de blasio handled the snowstorm already lets you know what time it is...

Its indirect privatization...

NY gets shut down by 2 feet of snow:dwillhuh:

Sanitation was nowhere to be found:patrice:

nikkas basically said, we get started monday:martin:

Washington Ave going downtown was a disaster...That was a suicide mission:huhldup:

3rd ave was a lil better...But point is, the MTA is mismanaged:ld:

Had an internship at the MTA in college. One of the best summers of my life :blessed:

So much foolery:mjlol:

In my limited experience, there's a ton of red tape and a ton of people who are there just to be there. So, basically like every other big corporation. For all of its issues though, seeing how they manage to keep it somewhat functional everyday is pretty amazing.

finally repainted nostrand ave stop

:heh:

trains are really packed and have been the last several years now. I did read within the last few weeks they're supposed to put a lot of money into the stops(paint, wifi, small stuff) but I won't hold my breath on when and where.

Had a free unlimited pass for the summer, barely saw my supervisor :mjlol: so I was out.

My office was underground, Walked in on some people BS'ing, they got a little shook until I told them "I'm an intern, I ain't doing nothing like y'all."

:what: it's like that everywhere in Manhattan. Nobody got time to pay 13 a hour for parking Nikka. It's like downtown Brooklyn as well. If you got that bread, good luck to you.

can park by wall street for $30 or $40 a day

I come in to the city from Jersey but still rarely take the subway cause of this. Dealing with the MTA and NJ Transit are like taking on two headed monsters.

I remember once I walked from Penn all the way down to SoHo cause the trains were shytty that day.

Yesterday I took the train to work cause I didn't want to lose my spot cause I'd get home too late. Big mistake.

Get to woodhaven blvd, F train running on the R line, train was there but it was jam packed. I wasn't about to get on that.

M train comes and I get on, doors take like 5 minutes to close every stop, then there's like another 7-10 minute delay before it starts moving...for every stop :why:

After Grand Ave, the shyt is packed, it took literally 25 minutes to get from Woodhaven to Roosevelt avenue. There's no excuse for that bullshyt.

I ended up taking a Lyft home, no way I was fukking with that bullshyt again.
I was underground for TWO fukking hours I kid you not. I was about to have an anxiety attack underground. It took us a legit 45 minutes from fukking 71st and continental to Roosevelt. Then the service was all fukked up.

"F running local"
:blessed:

After being stuck on that bytch ass train forever, the shyt switches up at Roosevelt.

"F running express, on the E line"

:mindblown: M/R takes 15 minutes to get there.

I got to work crazy late.

What other city has the ridership to justify such an extensive system. if you look at the revenue they collect. they should be doing much better. large areas of the city are under served.

there is an entire borough with no rail connection to the rest of the city and the lines we have simply can not efficiently accommodate the morning and evening rush.

other cities have parking and 8 lane highways, we don't. MTA is joke breh. this system is beyond capacity and many times you'll have to let 2 or more PACKED trains pass you to find one to squeeze into

the fact that no trains extend out into St.Albans/Rosedale/Hollis is so ridiculous to me.
