Is Toronto really bout to drop $30 mill on Clarkson? He was great for us but he ain't worth a $6 million cap hit.

I wouldn't have signed him for more than a $4 million cap hit. His agent (Zach Pari$e's agent's partner) has been talking reckless about the Devils too. Good riddance. :pacspit:

I wanted Briere on the Devils but not at that contact. Enjoy Montreal.

Conditional buyouts were the best thing to happen to the NHL offseason. What time does FA officially start tomorrow?

the amount of buthurt and crying over the past few days on HFboards Montreal Canadiens forum has been comedy of epic portions. First the moaning over Vinny snubbing the city yet AGAIN(i LOVE vinny :inlove: and don't blame him for not wanting to play in that fishbowl) and now the crying over the Briere signing.. :dead: :bryan:
(no offense to the habs fans ...J-lova..Jamal ) but that forum is pure comedy ... *heads back over there*

*poof*

Butthurt? Most of the sane one's are celebrating in the streets that we didn't pay him that kind of money for that term :bryan:

I'm seeing a lot more anger on the Leafs side with the Grabo buy out and upcoming Bozak payday.

The little midget is probably gonna tell some bullshyt story about how it's always been his dream to wear a Habs jersey, when he dissed us 7 years ago to sign with Philly.

The Habs are like the simp that marries the former "hot girl in high school" after she dissed him back in the day to date thugs. :beli:
briere was not with the flyers for 7 years stop it

According to sources around the team, Seguin was out late in Toronto during the road trip to play the Leafs in the first round of the playoffs and the team had to hold a sit-down with the immature forward about his commitment to the team. Seguin showed up each day at the Air Canada Centre wearing the same clothes for three straight days and played badly in Games 3 and 4 of the first round against Toronto.

That incident coupled with stories of Seguin’s late night partying during the regular season prompted Peter Chiarelli to say that “[Seguin] needs to become more of a professional” during a tirade at draft weekend.

And the Herald adds:

Multiple sources said the 21-year-old Seguin crossed the line this season with reckless partying.

It apparently got so bad that during the playoffs, the Bruins ordered Seguin to live in a hotel, where a guard was hired to make sure he stayed in his room.

:manny:

Trade makes even more sense for Boston now

Tempted to neg.:rudy:

But for real though, it is kinda funny. :heh: We are the most bi-polar fanbase on earth. If Danny performs well, I won't mind this move too much. It's just that for years the Habs have been a small, soft team that get pushed around and signings like this don't inspire much confidence from the fans. I have a feeling Bergevin is gonna try and move Gionta or Desharnais, we can't go into next season having so many guys under 5'10.

I was off by one year, get off my dikk.
