The only people that make money based on ‘likes’ or follower counts are celebrities like Nicki who will advertise a product, and some of them don’t even put #ad and pretend they actually use the product. Like laxative tea & girdles.
This is not how it works. the number of likes on a picture is the worst metric to use when determining if an influencer is worth paying to promote. Likes do not translate into sales.

"I am still getting my cut playboi"They've been testing this in other parts of the world since earlier this year and it hit Canada late summer, it's only just now expanded to the US. Account owners can see how many likes a post gets it's everyone else that can't. They want the emphasis on content and not likes.
This isn't hurting anything business related at all, follower counts and comments are still public. What you're seeing around is the amount of people that are actually living miserably in real life and need as many other people as possible to know that they're liked to make it through the day. We need that reset already.

, Nicki is saying that Instagram's excuse for mental health and self-esteem for users is
and it's really about them being upset that they aren't getting a cut of the money that individuals make through IG by getting sponsored for "likes". You know, because if companies see influencers getting a certain amount of "Likes" per posts, they might want them to endorse their products and IG is
they're not getting that dinero. Never thought about it that way. She may be on to something.
