1. Dog hair fibers match 1 out of 130 dog types, just so happening to match his dog.
2. Hair analysis matches 1 out of 90 African American hair type
3. The rather unique carpet type his parents had was found on bodies.
In the cross-examination, Mr. Deadman made some concessions. He said that he did not know all the possible sources from which the fibers might have come. He also said it was impossible to tell whether an animal hair came from a particular breed of dog. Finally, he said, no fibers from the victims' clothes could be found in the Williams house or automobiles.
The fiber angle would have been easily debunked if the case of Clifford Jones would have been presented. He had the same fibers on his body, yet was killed by Jamie Brooks. Jamie Brooks worked in a laundromat, which is where Clifford Jones was raped and killed. Witnesses saw Brooks and two other men rape and kill Clifford Jones. Witnesses also saw Brooks dispose of the body.
Again, this happened in a laundromat where numerous fibers are present. The same fibers found on Clifford Jones' body were found on the rest of the victims. The same "unique" carpet fibers that proved to be "clear" evidence that Williams was the killer were present in the laundromat, which is where you'd expect to find tons of fibers!
Keep in mind that Jamie Brooks went to prison around the same time as Wayne Williams. What did Jamie Brooks go to prison for? Rape, kidnapping, etc.
4. They caught him on the bridge that night with a sketchy story.
Whatever the story, Williams did not toss a body over the bridge. It's likely the task force set a trap to lure him out there. They called his mom and gave her the number of "Cheryl Johnson", a person who has never been located. That's because Cheryl Johnson didn't exist.
5. Failed lie detector.
I think Wayne Williams is just a habitual liar in general. He was the typical spoiled brat who wanted to seem more important than he really was. I suspect he'd probably fail a lie detector even he were telling the truth about something due to his tendency to embellish. Keep in mind that Jamie Brooks also failed lie detector tests, yet the police let him go!
6. Multiple people say they saw him being into homosexual activity which he denies.
Has he had prison boyfriends over the years? By now, you'd think that his homosexuality would have manifest itself in different ways.
7. Eye witness accounts from 2 friends that saw they witnessed Wayne beat and choke his own father.
I've never heard of this. However, I do believe, being a spoiled brat, he manipulated his parents in various ways. No different than the ways in which spoiled brats typically manipulate their parents.
8. While Wayne is under surveillance he says to a friend that he wishes they'd just go ahead and arrest him instead of following him around all day .
(What person facing a murder charge would say something like that?)
Being an arrogrant prick.
9. His behavior while under suspicion, trying to lose cops following him.
The nikka finally got the attention and "fame" he'd so yearned for growing up. He didn't realize he was giving them all the optics they needed for a jury to convict.
10. While trying to get out of prison he talks about being a secretly CIA trained junior agent. The last thing you want to say while trying to prove your innocence for murders is to provide info of you being a trained killer.
Again, being a habitual liar. I doubt the nikka was ever part of a CIA program. They wouldn't be recruiting a nikka from Georgia State University on the verge of dropping out for a top-secret program! If anything, they would have grabbed a top-notch Black male student from the AUC or Georgia Tech.
