So was Golden State when they fukked off 3-1. There's nothing worse than that beyond blowing a 3-0 lead on a similar stage.
Cleveland was in the finals the year before that and took them to 6 games with half their team out...the Wolves were a first round exit last year :francis:

It's not worse than blowing a 3-1 lead in the NBA Finals when you have won 73 games in said season.

Warriors got beat by Bron/Kyrie on god mode. Nuggets just got beat by a collection of players who all had had major question marks for their entire career up until now.

And they were up 3-2, then lost Game 6 by 45 and gave up a 20-point lead at home in Game 7.

This is a much worse look. The Warriors' loss "feels" bad cause it was the Finals and they were such a juggernaut that year, but this loss is worse from just the plain bad play.

Being "the guy" is knowing when to turn it on and take over, when to facilitate, when to make the hustle play, the defensive stop, when to be a leader. You can't teach that sh*t. Tatum and Booker are still scared to say they're the leaders of their team. They're pretenders for that alone. For example, see LeBron's game six in Boston. LeBron was not losing that night. Tatum's not doing that. See Kobe's game six in Boston. Boston was up 3-2 and should've won. Kobe would've died before allowing it. See Kawhi's entire 2019 playoff run. Nikka was channeling Prime Jordan that year. That game winner vs. Philly was the stuff you see in movies. When Tatum and Booker do stuff like that, I'll believe in them.
He's like an Eastern Conference Paul George to me.Top 15 player.I just don't think he's top 5 like I've seen some claim him as.

That nikka got a great agent, because he is at best a 6th man. That is at best, because he might not even be 6th man material. He does nothing but fling up 3s. Denver is literally playing 4 v5 when Porter is out there.

Great agent. Josh Hart from my NYK got a 4yr 80 mill contract and is more productive minus the turnovers.

It's the unfortunate reality of the NBA, the Nugs really had no choice but to give him a big contract. Once you're over the cap you don't get any extra space by letting a player walk

:gucci: He quite literally did EXACTLY that going into Milwaukee down 3-2 and dropping 46 on the road. He also holds the all time Game 7 scoring record.

:mjlol:You nikkas don't even pretend to watch basketball. Just say you don't like him and you like Ant. No reason to make a fool of yourself by stating verifiably false shyt.

You rode on a truncated bus. What did LeBron, Kobe and Kawhi do those years that Tatum hasn't :childplease:

When the lights were brightest, what has Tatum done :childplease:

:unimpressed: Outside of Kobe (who won his first three rings as the #2), they were all older than Tatum is NOW when they did that.

Tatum dropped 46 in Milwaukee down 3-2 and led them back to win the series

Took over the 4th quarter of G6 against Philly down 3-2 then dropped 50 in G7 to send them home

It’s fine if you’re not convinced he can be the best player on a title team, because hell even I have my moments of doubt, but to say he’s never had moments where he put the team on his back and took over just isn’t true

He played like complete ass when it mattered.
