fukk outta here fukk boy

NYC is the number 1 tourist attraction and financial capital… those businesses are ok

Working from home save middle class and low income family on gas, transportation, child care services , eating out while in office and other things where working at home saves hundreds of dollars a week

This dude is a corp shill and its funny that all the gen x older rappers like this fed. Dude is protecting interests of commercial property

I agree with you, but there's absolutely no way in hell anyone can become mayor of NYC without being a shill for corporate interest. Even fake Commie De Blasio answered to the same masters.

I saw a youtube video the other day where a dude brokedown a Bloomberg News article, where the journalist argued that NYC is losing 12 billion a year.

This Youtuber was like:

"NYC is not losing 12 billion a year, the worker is SAVING 12 billion a year. NYC elites have an entitlement problem, where they feel they're entitled to that 12 billion a year. No, you're not. You need to come up with creative ways to sell me goods and services, to make us want to spend that 12 billion a year. You're not entitled to that money"

He also added that local economies that aren't used to seeing foot-traffic during certain periods of the day, pre-pandemic, now have that foot traffic due to remote work. So local, residential, economies are indeed benefitting.

In my neighborhood, we just had a new juice bar open up about a block away from me. Black owned by a brother and sister, they stay busy during lunch time because they have salads and smoothies for the low. Working from home, I go there for lunch and spend $8 on a salad, vs. $20 in Manhattan for that same salad.

They can’t have empty buildings downtown :yeshrug:
If they do, it's raw incompetence. Real estate is the GOAT investment.

Those office buildings are empty? You still got a whole ass building in NYC. Either wait and hold a temporary L to see how things play out or convert them into apartment buildings and eat off that.

Adapt or die applies to everyone. I ain't gon cry if some fool can't see the writing on the wall and pull a Blockbuster on himself. :manny:

That genie is not going back in the bottle, sorry. You let me work with no pants on for 3 years and I did my job perfectly fine. Good luck
I was shocked at our quarterly town hall meeting earlier this week. Someone brought up the topic and our executives brought up that before Covid they didn't believe in working from home. Since the company kept rolling along though they feel they were proven wrong and decided to leave the choice up to employees on if they wanted to come back to the office. They have no plans on forcing anyone back into the office. They actually start closing some of the offices. I expected them to be like my old company and force everyone back in to the office.

That's great, seems like a nice company culture. Mine has taken the same approach. I go in maybe once a month for a critical meeting, and it's fun. I get to see some people again and do the old "grab lunch and drinks after work" thing. Doing that every single day though? I'm good lol

Bruh how the fukk is that our fault or our problem? :what:

You negroes is so brainwashed when a rich person fall you say OW! I guarantee none of them developers or politicians are have a discussion about Tribal OutKast’s problems are they?

They never have to reap the consequences of their actions because they’re subsidized by the public. They will be again but they just want us to shoulder the burden so they don’t even have to go through the trouble to do that much.

fukk them developers and fukk Eric Adams. He’s not even giving an incentive to go back just cracking wise and finger wagging like a bald headed mammy.

They don’t give af about us man why do we jump through hoops to make sure their hood?
Calm down man. I’m not mad at y’all. I think if with a hybrid if you can’t do full on work from home. I’m not an office drone so I can’t relate. I literally don’t even have to be in my building even though I’m not WFH. They’re trying to do whet they have to for people to go fill up them buildings. I’m not saying I’m on their side lol. I mean of course people want to continue working from home… who the hell wouldn’t?
