Benintendi is a solid player. Not a star. But in this lineup he doesn’t have to be.
I thought Tommy Pham might be the 1st guy traded but he’s probably going soon.
The value in Benintendi is that he doesn’t strike out a lot and he gets on base. Not a ton of power but I’d rather have a guy like this in my lineup come October than some of the higher ceiling guys we’ve had in the past who are boom/bust (Gary Sanchez, Joey Gallo)

No team is interested in Gallo, he already about to be a FA after this season , so why give up prospects for him ?
