MMS/SMS is dumb in 2013. SMS will be killed this year. Apple imessage, facebook messenger, and google future merging of messenging app will kill that garbage. Im saying MMS should work over WIFI and only data. Carriers are raping people charging for texting. I use kik for all my messenging it work just like sms and is better :win:

:beli: everybody dosent have social networks, so what about people who dont have facebook, or kik?

SMS is on its last leg...who uses a smartphone without having internet access. Google just put free wifi all over NYC. All the old verizon pay phone booth are now wifi booth. Please cut it out

LOL I work for an SMSC, SMS is nowhere near dead. People aren't going to adapt any of that any time soon because there are too many platforms to crossover, people HATE facebook, and not everyone in the world has access to Data plans as unlikely as that sounds.

None of those messaging apps that required both parties to have installed panned out. I gave most of them a honest shot too. If imessage was actually a separate app from stock messaging on iphones it would be in the bushes too.

How many smartphone subscribers do AT&T and Verizon have combined?? 600 million

Google, APPLE and Facebook are aiming to kill SMS. Carriers will fight it. Google voice got blocked by verizon , AT&T and T-mobile from expanding. SMS and feature phones will live in the background but the future is imessage

Hmmmm, seems pretty good. They use Tmo hspa+ so their speeds should be solid.

What does $40 get you? Any throttling?
