Me, myself and I
I never workout during the trip, so it takes a while to get my motivation back. It's back and I've been going strong for 2 weeks. My next big trip isn't for another few months so I'm fine.

I'm good wiith cardio but would like to get on a good weight training program. I really hate gyms but I may have to go and hire a personal trainer if I can't find youtube videos or IG fitness people that work for me.

Just got back from the gym.
Since I moved back, I went to the nearby anytime fitness and I don't like how unorganized the machines are and didn't have some of the machines my other gym had. Nonetheless after weighing myself, I gotta suck it up until I can find means to getting another gym membership elsewhere.

Goal this week: 4 times

what are y'alls regimen's at the gym?
Been googling and watching videos of things to do at the gym...i don't think just cardio machines are cutting it and i think im beginning to do my squats incorrectly.


I used the leg press that focuses on inner thighs and my legs are like :dead:

So one of my issues is spending too much time doing cardio and not enough strength training. This is how I stressed both my knees out because I was constantly running for my life but not strengthening my quads.

Do minor weights in sets and if your squat form is bad do lounges or 15 minutes on the stairmaster. Planks are good for the core. Some people think just working out the middle works but you have to work out the sides of your an muscles as well to help lose weight so side planks are important.

started a new gym today.
much larger, free fitness classes (thinking of joining one). much more amenities.

now that i have access to the car, i'm gonna try to head down there much more often. got a soror telling me she goes for one hour every week night.
gotta be more serious with this.

10 mins cardio
50 non stop strength training machines (back & leg extensions, seated row, chest press and the abdomen machine -- felt crippling pain after my third set of 20, so i think i'm using that one incorrectly). that workout bust my ass :dead:

gonna ask tomorrow if someone could show me around weights...it's so male oriented i'm kinda scared to go over there). Training session on monday...gonna ask for help with waist defining and flattening my stomach, but i think the exercises i did today would help. another day of chest and abs stuff, then leg day and then all cardio to end the week.
