I doubt y'all even have ya hotspots...I see some of these guards on pro-am go retarded and hit 3 or 4 shots straight. I see slashers making shots right over my big with Rim Protector like it's nothing :hubie:. Hotspots and badges matter. If they end up jacking up percentages because y'all missing without them, when y'all do get them the game will break...

What 2K needs to do is just leave it alone, and make ppl adjust. Make these ppl actually learn how to play basketball, and establish this new way as the norm. Of course, the chances of that happening are pretty small, but we can hope.

I understand what you saying from a online standpoint but I'm a mycareer player and it's no way in hell I should be missing a lay up in the fast break by myself. I can be 4 feet away from the goal with no one defending and still miss. That's just retarded.

The thing with green releases is that they set the precedent with green = make. So when we get green that should signify we did everything right, the stars aligned, the shot is falling. I wouldn't mind the bar being filled and it not being a green release, but they have to communicate that information somehow. Instead of it being an excellent shot, maybe it's a great shot with a slight boost.

I think the main gripe right now is that shooting isn't logical. The feedback 2K gives you indicates that your shot should fall but it doesn't. Wide open, good release, decent attributes, and it's a straight up brick. You get the feeling that something just isn't right. On top of that the computer (I almost exclusively play career) will make the same or worse shots at a better clip. And layups are in that same vein.

The more reasonable among us don't want to see every shot fall, we just want some logical consistency with what's happening.

There's an animation glitch akin to last years where big men could get elite dribble moves or small guards could get contact dunks. On my phone and cant link but youtube Witnessgaming and watch his latest video
