Let me reword that my apologies. It appears that overall game mechanics and graphics that the developers were lazy. We are seeing the same legacy problems that has plague this game for years now and they are not fixing it. The developers need to develop a new game engine ASAP.

what are you talking about? What does making a new game engine have to do with game mechanics? Madden has a new engine this year and the same problems in Madden 17 are in 18. It has to do with making new animations and coding more than making a new engine. Besides making an new engine takes more time out of other resources.
