I don't play Myteam either. I just don't see the appeal. It's more of the fantasy football/basketball/baseball trend that I never got into. I want a showcase mode of his most memorable games like they did in 2k11 and should have done for Kobe last year.
I always liked playing those kind of games,mainly to see what Piff Legendary and Active Players I can get to build up my lil Squad,I try not to spend too much Money on those Packs(no more than at least $20)but I understand the "Hate" for it as well
MyTeam is the only worthwhile mode for me

They need to update the players in all star team up and add more retro teams

They also need to touch the old teams up. Let them get the same pre game and halftime shows with halftime and post game interviews and the commentary going into detail about stuff like they do with the regular teams. They also need to add more players. Still no Rasheed Wallace which makes nobody want to use the 2000 trailblazers or the 2004 pistons, Byron Russell is missing from the 1998 jazz. The 2006 heat don't have James posey or Jason kapono, the 2008 Celtics are missing posey, PJ brown, big baby, and Eddie house, and the 2013 heat were missing Rasheed Lewis too. Some of these teams were coached by guys still in the NBA too. Let's get them on those teams sidelines. Also no reason to be lazy with player models. Their player model for Shaq has a strange shaped head (their studio show Shaq would look fine if they used that model), 1998 and 2001 Kobe can't wear nike even though all his shoes are Nike, 2006 Alonzo Mourning has a full head of hair in the game while he was bald in real life by then. Wade's shoe line should be available to all players in the game, and 2013 bird man should have a big Mohawk and be clean shaven (he's also got ink now that he didn't have back then).
