The shooting is still infuriating for me. I'm missing like 95% of the time on Good + Wide Open shots. I don't think they should go in every time, but the odds are definitely flipped on how often that type of shot goes in. These are professional basketball players, sure they'll miss once in a while when they're open and do everything right mechanically, but usually when they miss it's because they were either contested, did something wrong mechanically with the shot or just aren't good shooters. But here, when you shoot with guys that can hit 3s and are wide open and get a Good release, which technically means they did things right mechanically, that shot should go in more often than that. Not to mention that this is a video game and not exactly fun to consistently miss shots when you're wide open, especially considering how many missed layups there are as is.

You must be shooting with mediocre three point shooters, aren't letting your feet set, you aren't as open as you think, are shooting from too far, or flat out suck

No basketball game ever punishes you for leaving shooters wide open more than this game

This game isn't as bad as ppl are making it out to be. It's great in my opinion.
