I love cats, I like their attitude. I think with this goes for any pet, if you are clean it's not a problem. having a pet doesn't automatically make you or your house dirty lol. I want a kitten too...I just worry about the litter training process.

Lol because cats can jump on counters and other stuff in the kitchen. I dont know any other reasons, but my parents would always advise against it. If I do I will definitely post on here! I want a gray or black one..Imma name it Smokey.lmao...what does eating after people with cats mean? and what is it supposed to do to you?

I like them too - I like that most arent clingy. Good point about the "potty" training..thats something Im dreading if I get one.

I want to try to negotiate my severance but I have a feeling my boss is under some type of financial distress. He told me that he cant afford to keep the business open and that he is not making money but I think he is white people broke. He hasn't told me what it will be just yet but if he lowballs it, I want to try to counter him. He is such a nice man, even though he never kept the break room with coffee. I really like him though.

LMAO oooh ok i didnt even make the connection and i mean its cray cuz i've owned cats my entire life and literally only one...my current kitten... is the "bad" one...his spirit is straight dog status and he's ridiculously motivated by food so we've had issues with him jumping on the counter but we've learned to put away the stuff that makes him want to ...and also i don't play about my kitchen..i clean it deeper than no other place in my home because its where our food is stored and im very mindful of that....basically you gotta gauge personality first cuz my other cat...and any previous ones have never ever cared about human food or climbing up on stuff other than their toys....buuuuuut thats another point to remember introduce your new baby to its own stuff so he/she knows those spots are for climbing clawing etc...the best way to nix bad kitty behavior is to designate their own stuff and safe places

i got some gnarly spring-loaded cat trees off amazon and both my babies looove...allows them a place to perch and lord over the house but keeps them out of my damn way when im doing anything i'd rather they not be in the way for 
also if you're purchasing from a breeder or a reputable cat adoption place...kittens should be sold at no younger than 10 weeks (they gotta ween from mama and learn cat ways) and should be fully litterbox trained by that time....both my babies came home at about 11/12 weeks old and were fully capable and knowledgeable about using the kitty box....the only thing is to know beforehand where you want to put it....and keep it very far away from where they will eat
