Essentially the same thing here in Canada. I'd ideally like to do my PhD in the US or London, but tuition remission + research funding doesn't feel as great with international fees + living arrangements in a new home, etc.

#32K for an undergrad though? Not that bad, esp in comparison to what I racked up during mine. Which is why I don't like giving more than 2 minutes of thought about school fees a day

:wow:
True, but 32k out of High School just for your education is a bytch and a half....like you said, people who are international or even out-of-state really get their jimmies rustled.

Yup. I advised my younger brothers, and I think all graduates should do the following: take time off post HS (1 yr) to work/intern and contemplate a career direction prior to applying for school. Racking up that level of debt after making a life decision at 17/18 isn't practical; alarming if you end up following an alternative career path down the road.

Yeah, if I could do it again, I'd knock out lower level electives at a cheap ass community college and then transfer to the uni I graduated from to do the upper level ones and get my BA.

If it's any consolation, I would have paid top dollar for you

A severely underreported phenomenon is men who can't be alone/single/not hosting guests in their bedroom like an Airbnb, mad unattractive.
