It could be stress, so you could try some herbal remedies to speed things up. Black cohosh, dong quai root, motherwort, or white peony. You can definitely get the first two in a supplement store like Vitamin Shoppe. Also, make sure your vitamin levels are ok. If there is any other symptoms going on besides the late period or if it happens again, you should see a gyno immediately.
