I went to rack room today to get some new shoes and I saw that they were having a bogo sale so I looked around, and some combat boots caught my eye. I found the shoes I originally came for and then spent nearly an hour and a half debating about which pair to get for my bogo between a camel colored pair and a gray pair; I ended up choosing the gray because I liked the detail of the inner lining.

I got home and I decided to try them on with some outfits and they looked so ugly.
I dont like how they look on my feet straight on, and the lacing makes them like shoes you'd see on the Little House on the Prairie, no matter how loosely I tie them.

The boots go narrow just like this after lacing because as you can see in my pics, there are no holes for the strings to go through at the top only hooks, which I didn't notice even after that long time of screening the shoes. I also feel like the mirror in the store wasn't a standard one.

Now I have to cross my fingers that the other pair is there because they only had like 2 boxes left of my size in the same camel color that I wanted.
