I used Cantu moisturizer and Africa's Best (forgot the exact name but it's the thick yellow oil like substance in the jar with the herbs in it) I didn't use much of either though.

Did you seal your hair with oil before drying it. I generally use cocunut oil to seal my hair after applying a leave-in conditioner. Good luck. Finding a great routine can be difficult.
