First he said I was clingy."If we have sex and I don't talk to you the next day you get an attitude...it's not that big of a deal". So Monday night we have sex, I leave Tuesday morning and don't call or text him all day. This morning I talk to him and he called me an a$$hole and said I used him for sex.

Last night we FINALLY concluded that we don't want the same things from each other. He actually came out of his mouth and said "What you want, I can't offer" 
I made this conclusion months ago, I was just waiting for you to agree.

Nah I'll be about there the week of the 13th, I go every year with the homies for http://evo.shoryuken.com/ We have a great time every year, and usually hit up the cali beaches at some point during the trip since its like 3 hours away.
Depending on what you really want to do, how long you plan on staying and how much you plan on eating and drinking you can get away easy with just 500 bucks. Honestly I wouldn't bring more than 500 in cash and that should cover any and everything you have to pay for in cash the whole trip. A debit or credit card and 500 in cash and your golden.
But if you just want to bring strictly cash 700 bare minimum
