So my bf jokingly told a chick he loved her and wanted to marry her and I hit him cuz I thought it was disrespectful.

Now I know I shouldn't have hit him but I was still pissed at the fact. So was I overreacting on getting mad or not?

Keep in mind we've been to conventions before where he would get hype over people's cosplay but he's never told them I love you and I want to marry you so it was a little to me
