@ANewClassic henna is supposed to give the hair body and texture too. You have to repeat the procedure like every 2-3 weeks in order for your hair color to slowly change. It will still look dark to the naked eye but under light/sun it'll be a little burgundy/brownish transparent color...

I've had henna on my hair for years, I just haven't put it on in a while lately and people used to get confused from me being inside to going out like " how'd ur hair change color change so bright?"
