-The contracting company I work for does a tuition reimbursement that pays up to $2500 for education/training. The drawback is that you owe the company 9 months or else you'll have to pay part of the money back (Each month you owe a lesser percent of money). So we have a service rep (I guess what's what you can call him) who meets with me and kind of asks how I'm doing and all that and I told him I wanted to get some Certifications. He told me about the tuition program and I told him I didn't want to use that because I didn't want to owe them any time or money.
He looked at me like I had two heads. I'd rather just save up my own bread and use it and be able to make moves when I can instead having to worry about staying for 9 months or needing to pay some money back.
