I wonder if my family will do a 1 million penny challenge with me starting in 2014. 1 million pennies is $10,000. If we all just start collecting pennies and at the end of the year see if we can get a million pennies worth of change, roll it up, take it to the bank and split the money. I have a small family so the 6 people I'm thinking about we would get a little over $1600 a piece. Not bad for not really doing anything.

When I get home Ill post pics. I think my hair is awful now. My curl pattern is ruined.
I want to but my head is big as hell. The volume of my hair used to help camo it but not anymore :-/
Gradual. This well be a third long transition for me :-/Are you going to cut it all off or just trim it gradually?
I've never had this big of a problem from heat. But then again I was using a leave in "with keratin" that I got from DR. That may be what really did it. Idk. I'm just really disappointed. October would've been 5 years.

I don't see THAT much of a difference. The first pic looks like your hair was just done and the second pic looks like a few days of wear or after a humid ass day. What exactly is wrong with it?
Your hair is pretty long, so I'd say just get about 1-2 inches trimmed off regularly every 4-6 weeks for about 3 months. In that time just wear some protective heat free styles. Wash your hair at night or on weekends (if you're off) and let it air dry. Don't use any heat on your hair for about 6 months but after 3 months you can start switching up your styles. You'll be ok.

My hair doesn't curl anymore. At all. Just loose frizzy waves with lots of straight pieces. And the volume is way down. Shrinkage is down to maybe 20%. My hair was day 1 for both pics, same products and styling. That IS air dried :-( I've just been bunning it or wearing it loose. Im giving up on heat until next June atleast. I've made peace with it. I could be bald.
