I was just reminiscing to myself the time I walked out of a job. It was great. I had planned it that week; started taking my personal belongings home little by little until I was left with just a few things that could fit in my work bag. Drove there that morning (first morning I didn't cry on the way there), did my work. Lunch time hit I told them "I'll be back". Put the rest of my belongings in my work bag, slid the badge to security on the way out. Security looking confused as fukk "You won't be needing this anymore?". NOPE!!! It was beautiful sping day and my job was in the backwoods so between the breeze and the view on the way home, it was beautiful. I felt free.
Then I was broke for the next 6 months LMAO!! I was working extra hours at Home Depot to pay rent, gas/electric and food. Credit score took a dip because I said fukk everything else that wasn't essential. Then I ended up getting a job at the state government that paid nearly 40% more than what I was being paid.
