Every time I watch Hockey I always think the same thing, in other masculine sports with brehs, they clutch pearls and have these deep discussions and make a big deal about fights, they police and say its unacceptable, barbaric and has no place in the game, guys lose money, get suspended and are said they cant be role models and make it seem like they should be jailed..

In Hockey, crowd cheers, refs stand and watch and announcers are cool and its all part of the game, no judgement, no outrageous suspensions, no documentary style commentary, nothing.. Just guys get to hammer it out a lil and then back to the game..

I always wonder..

I never hear them demonized or treated a certain way.. Usually boys will be boys and its all good kid gloves.. The reasoning presented here doesnt deny that.. But you would know better than me, I am openly a casual who root for panthers as they reign supreme over the NHL with no ice in sight in south florida..

I firmly believe that enforcers in football would make the game safer. You cheap shot my QB my RG takes his helmet off next play and you box. Less personal fouls for sure and less head hunting like berfict.
