The ps3 is FACTUALLY weaker in some areas it just happens to
be areas that matter a great deal in rendering games.
This isn't opinion or a matter of difficulty, several developers have come forth and stated this.
For example the ps3 has terrible fill rate and titles
that took advantage of this on 360, struggled when they came to
ps3.

And no, those guys on that website know plenty, there are several
developers and professionals who post there, it may not be fun to read
though for people who have no interest in game design or software development (the latter
being my career choice and game design being a hobby I have interest in. )

There wasn't any real "Superiority" on either platform because over all they're stupidly close in performance, at least once developers developers got up to par on the ps3 which happened a couple
years ago yet there were still certain games that performed better because of what the developer was
ultimately going for.
And even then we don't have an example to check against if we only use first party
titles, though it's not like they're lacking visually on the 360 :
Halo Reach
Halo 4
Alan Wake
and the
Gears of War trilogy
All of these games look fantastic, as well as the myriad of multiplatform titles
that run better due to distinct advantages hardware wise.

They are a technology source as well. They have created some of the tools that powers the Forza games and others. They are actually pretty important.

I must say, I'm a Rare stan, that's why I know everything about them and why I am pro Xbox, because Rare is there. I'm Agent Icebeezy on Neogaf and for years, I had a Rare logo as my avatar. Where in their official releases did they lie. I believe the assumptions of people on forums said there would be 7 gigs of ram used for the OS. It is what it is. I wish the rumors were true but if they're not at least we get 5.5 and its better ram then xbox one on top of having that better gpu and faster CPU

Alot of xbots were just waiting for some percieved bad news from sony they could spin into WW3 but at the end of the day, PS4 is still MORE POWERFUL than xbox one and thats a fact of life xbots have to deal with.

The new thing with xbots seems to be denying that the 2 rams are equal because of numbers but sorry xbots GDDR5 is going to make a big difference this gen. O and obviously graphcs that are 2 times BETTER than xbox one. We cant lose.

Xbots are basically dissing their own system by claiming that Sony having roughly the same amount of ram reserved for games compared to Xbox one is a loss but they always neglect to mention the ram sony is using is far superior on top of the graphics chip sony is using is 2 times better than xbox ones. Yea, i believe they're blowing it out of proportion. Across the board xbox one is still inferior with this news.
