He could. But starters need to practice running the offense also. So do the players ahead of him on the depth chart. They have to work toward winning games during the regular season.

If you want to see him in game action so badly, there's always the chance they send him to the D-League. That's what it's there for. We may see that.

I dont think he needs the D league he just needs a team that can use his skillset....danny green cant dribble for shyt...but he found a niche in San Antonio...its all about fit...he doesnt fit here....he can fit on a team like the clippers though...cuz matt barnes is trash

It took Danny Green a while before he had any sort of value.

Yes. And what allowed Danny Green to FIT... was turning himself into a 42% three point shooter, and a plus-defender on the wing. And it too him until his THIRD season to do that.

It takes time, man. Enjoy the process, and have a little faith in Phil/Phish... seeing as every team in the NBA passed on Early before the Knicks thought they could use him.

Fisher said This game was about getting players who will see heavy minutes reps.

With that said I know it's preseason but I think the knicks won that trade for Acy. Especially if he ends up being a starter.

exactly..so early has no role on the team then

it takes time but you have to let the man make mistakes by actually playing in the actual games for extended minutes instead of throwing him in for like 10 minutes a game....

there is only so much d league and practices you can throw on someone you are trying to develop but at the end of the day they have to learn during competition....i simply cannot grasp the logic someone is going to learn best by not being able to even adjust to the pro level speed....he has to get used to defenders flying at him and learn to put the ball on the floor during competition....if he is only playing 5 minutes a game, he is obviously going to look like shyt every time because he has no time to adjust....if it takes time in practice, it has to also take time during gameplay....and to not play him the minutes his teamates are getting in the preseason where the games dont count make no sense to me, if they truly think he has a role on the team.
