No, he's not on the level of Rogan but he is still popular and even more, popular enough to attract people like the netizens of 4cac and so on. Things like this is shyt they weaponize against black people to help spread their white supremacist message and we all are aware of the reach 4cac has. This is the issue I'm having. Who they are spreading this message to and how it can be weaponized and utilized is important. How many times have we seen people complain, both in general and on here, about racist memes and the spread of said memes. How did they spread? Rogan wasn't spreading them yet here we are.
Those racist memes and narratives are crafted and cultivated in dark corners of the internet just like random ***** boards. They will always be a thing. What limits their spread is education.

What does not limit their spread, but contribute to it, is sharing the content on the Coli under the guise of informing, while creating fake narratives around it (like the absence of pushback, or inventing Destiny's stardom).

The streamer got shytted on by educated folks for his dumb ass take. What more do yall want?

In Da 15th
African American music came with the slaves. It is a fusion of musics that covered the Sahel, Forest Belt and Central African arts. Drumming was eventually curtailed due to their connections to slave revolts. Gospel music by and large comes from call and recall. There are also connections to West Africa Muslim calls to prayers. The Dr. Watts stuff is a classic example of call and recall that is the basis of Gospel music. You can hear the West African calls to prayers in that sound. Dr. Watts didn't create that music, but he took credit for it. Most Gospel songs go way back to field hollers but have gotten reworked over the years for contemporary audiences.

The shyt White people contributed is what they did for Country music and Rock and Roll. Those were Black musical art forms that White people try to take credit for.
:ehh:

You know your stuff - salute.

Where’s that breh who’s the encyclopaedia of African American history (can’t remember his username)?

You'd have to be a complete idiot to think this. Hell, Ragtime which was literally the forefather for those genres was started by a Black man named Scott Joplin and literally most evidence points to Jazz, Blues, and especially R&B(which literally got it's name in the first place because of "Race Radio") being tied to African Americans.

If Elvis was still alive, even he'd slap this cac in the face for saying this.

dude is a nobody trying to make a come up by Antagonizing Black men specifically and exploiting the divide with Black women online. He is not unaware or uninformed he is calculated. stop feeding these trolls. all these "discussions" are fuel for their content they need the attention and the adversarial energy they expect it. he's a nobody with a small reach looking to get his shyt planted and spread out like a virus and you lot seem to be feeding into these types of content creators continuously. you amplify them. migrate their content across platforms. most of the viewers here are lurkers...

furthermore the history of all those musical styles are easily noted and recorded. it is not even WORTH THE ACTUAL DISCUSSION he can't invalidate evidence with an opinion. his opinion holds 0 weight

stop the madness, stop all feeding into the controversy matrix you not mitigating it just facilitating it. i mean the fact that most of it is birthed on twitter should be the red flag.

It was shared on twitter first. What extra harm, if any, is created by sharing it on here? And racist memes are often taken from innocent things and mutated and changed into something sinister. The OK sign, kings becoming kangz, and so on. And what is the harm in discussing how wrong the person is in the first place? Especially since this was a hotly debated issue, it would be good to hear what other people who are knowledgeable on the topic have to say about it.

Good. Mind posting those tweets I couldn't find them

Peep the rest of that thread. Pat is valid, got co-sign from Wynton Marsalis when he was younger and he taught at college level

And Adam Neely speaks for itself

Destiny went to school for music for 1 semester and now is trying to out debate music conservatory kids who have been listening to avant-garde and jazz since they were in the womb and could write any chord they heard on paper since they were 5

The entire quote is
sharing the content on the Coli under the guise of informing, while creating fake narratives around it (like the absence of pushback, or inventing Destiny's stardom).
I don't take much issue with just sharing it on the Coli if it's in a transparent way. An accurately framed title would have been "streamer gets shytted on for claiming [...]".

My issue has been since my initial post that you quoted, that OP is sharing while lying to create outrage and alarmism. And those lies and fake narratives help the spread of alt-right propaganda because it makes them look more sane while confusing others. See how confusing the OK sign situation got for randoms.
