sounds like excuses to me. melo played in a tougher conference and made the playoffs every year, something the nuggets didnt do til melo was drafted. melo also won a national title.

but yea your right these past couple knick teams were juggernauts with toney douglas, bill walker, jared jeffries, landry fields, and ronny turiaf. and with the best coach in the league mike d'antoni, how did they not win!?

Melo could be a better scorer, sure, but what happens when his shot isn't falling? Y'all seen perfect examples, he shoots his team out of games.

Pierce is a much better all around player and when you bring up intangibles, leadership, and those things, it's not close.

People just look at points, dude has had 6 assists in 5 games! How do u run a balanced good offense when you have players that take 25-30 shots and doesn't pass at all?
