The lack of patience. His "weak" arm has gotten yall a lot of wins.
He's a very good QB. A franchise QB. He shown that much.
Take away Flacco's last postseason and his numbers are worse than Ryan's. Flacco has benefited greatly from having a very good defense. This year the D was ass and he's now watching the playoffs from his couch. Ryan > Flacco. Flacco got a big arm that's about it. He's not bad, he's just not good.
Broke down the tape and watched both teams often last year. Baltimore had a much better defense this year than in the Super Bowl year. The difference was, no Boldin, no running game while last year they had both clicking. Flacco carried Baltimore last year while Ryan failed the Falcons. Saying defense would make sense if you were talking about the Falcons who had a better all around defense last year than the Ravens.
Flacco is more than just a big arm. He can throw short with touch. He can buy time in the pocket. He can hit any spot on the field in terms of passes. His play doesn't regress in cold weather. In the playoffs, he made plays and made them at the most vital times. He wasn't this hero throwing to open WR's, he created a passing lane by using his mobility which isn't great and made critical plays. That was the difference in the Ravens losing to Denver in Denver to them winning the Super Bowl. His numbers reflected that.
Bruh as much as i ride with you for the Hawks, i cant let this slide.
Flacco won playoff games because of his D, not anything he did. Last year was the year he finally stepped it up.
You know what Ryan did in that playoff loss against SF? 396 yards, 3 TDs, and 71% completions against the #2 D in the league. Do you not realize how you look criticizing that? Joe Flacco has never put up those numbers in a playoff game!
You know I watch the games so simple numbers don't fool me.
His play in the 3rd and most of the 4th QT was horrendous. As soon as SF made halftime adjustments, Ryan went from throwing a TD to Julio and moving the ball to three and outs, when we got first downs it was because our running backs was piling up yards. And majority of his 4th QT yards came from our last offensive possession which ended with a pass to Roddy with Willis defending it. So many things went wrong. They cut off all of his passing options. Forced him to make a play. Did not rush to sack but rushed to move him from his spots. They basically played him like a game manager and he couldn't adjust. Now because of that, they stop paying attention to our running game which was average over 5 yards a carry in the 2nd half.
Once again, that stat shyt works on some but it doesn't with me. I watch the games, I seen what he was doing. I seen how they countered. If it wasn't for our defense, we wouldn't even have had a shot to win in the last 3 minutes of the game. Our defense made cricical stops in the 4th QT as well as forced a fumble as well when SF was at the 1 yard line.
Also, our defense last year was better than Baltimore defense last year. In terms of stats, Atlanta was better. In terms of making key plays, Atlanta defense was better. In both the regular season and playoffs. You guys overrate what Ray Lewis did last year, he was horrible in the playoffs. A complete liability. He was literally there in spirit but not in talent.
