The weirdest part about it is that there is no middle ground especially here. Any impartiality looks like support for one of them. Any kind of sane rationalization is met with the most left field bird brain response. There's people that believe Kendrick is a wife beater without any proof. You have people talking about he had abusers in his crew. There's people that believe Drake is a pedophile without any proof and are bending what grooming and pedophilia actually are to fit a narrative. People going through Reddit posts and gossip sites for information thinking they predicted where this was this going. Its gossip, that information has been there, regardless of whether its true or not. Those sites exist for the purpose of publishing dirt on celebs.
In previous battles and beefs none of this mattered because as personal as those beefs got, the artists weren't trying to get their opponent thrown in jail. Wives and baby mothers have been brought up in beefs since the '90's.
I specifically remember this nikka screaming "lame!!" on the drums for Jay-Z on Unplugged during the Takeover portion. During a battle that brought up shyt like condoms in baby seats. What makes this so much different?

Exactly. This nikka Kendrick literally tryna get this nikka Drake jammed up and nikkas mad that Drake tried to defend himself. ESPECIALLY with the climate today and we see what's going on with other celebrities like Diddy. U got fukkin gossip youtubers that's straight up crackers that don't even follow hip hop trying to do research and jam nikkas up. Then u got a bunch of outsider watching all of what's going on and piling on. I've never seen a rap battle play out in this way before.

Whose fault is that? Six years ago this entire forum acknowledged when you start mentioning nikkas girls in a diss song all bets are off. You have signed your life away and acknowledged whatever happens, happens. We saw how Pusha handled it....and mind you, we only saw ONE phase of it. Pusha straight up said it was gonna be a surgical summer. He clearly had responses ready and does anyone think that man wasn't gonna go lower and lower? So why is anyone surprised that Kendrick would have a similar response and go nuclear?
It is what it is. Kendrick was prepared for a lyrical, normal battle. Instead Drake went overboard with family shyt and ducktales so Kendrick responded with what sound like really uncomfortable truths or half truths.

When this shyt eventually starts effecting Kendrick as well u will see. nikkas out here accusing eachother of crimes on record without no proof with the entire world watching is wild as fukk. Ain't no rap battle ever did that to this extent especially by artists of this caliber and u nikkas can't find me one.

Who do you see hurting from this? People move on quick these days. If Drake was any other artist, I might buy the idea that it will hurt him but he has the biggest fanbase in hiphop and these dudes will stick with him no matter what. He will get those comments the rest of his life but he should still be able to make music and get people to listen to. Kendrick's stature went up. Mustard, Alchemist, Metro all got their production on music that will be listened to forever
