And this 24/7 video game playing nerd still can't name the MAJOR hip hop act that doesn't have a predominantly white fanbase.
:blessed: I been to 3 different Cole concerts and they all been majority black :mjpls:

One was at Harris casino(bornsinner)
Other was at HOB(2014 Fhd)
And the other was at the Pelicans Areana(2014 FHD)

:sas2: Every future concert I went to was pretty much all black

Same wit meek.

 Was jeezy not a major artist? Cause all the shows of his were mj Sprite black

:mjpls: Or maybe us black people in the south actually support our artist.

The WU had a cryptic style that wasnt radio friendly

85% of the black population are institutionalized by the church and corporate america

And are drawn to sensational shallow images and subjects

WU lyrics were not for the simple minded

Blacks might get the beat...but cant comprehend the m Message

"The dumb are mostly intrigued by the drums"
-Masta Killa

85% of our kind is def dumb and blind- elijah muhammad

Wu's fan base is super white, them nikkas stay posting nothing but cac fans and cac thots with Wu-Tang tattoos on they Facebook. A lot of the biggest Wu stans on this very site are cacs. Their old shows seemed like mostly hood dudes, blacks and Ricans, etc. They probably have some real hip hop white fans from Staten Island though. Once they crossed over with hits, video games, RZA/Meth got into movies, Wu-Wear line, MTV push, tour with Rage Against The Machine they became the Beatles of hip hop they gained a lot of cac and Asian fans and gained a cult following...

I've seen Drake/Nas, Bryson Tiller, J. Cole, Future/K-Camp, A$AP Mob, took my girl to see Nicki Minaj/Meek Mill/Dej Loaf/Rae Sremmurd, Spitta/Stalley/Smoke DZA/Styles P/Dave East, Fabolous, reggae acts like Gyptian and Popcaan, Pusha T/Waka Flocka, Hot 97 SummerJam over the last three years all had large black crowds except A$AP's shyt lot of cacs and hipster new blacks there probably because of location...

For some reason black audiences support was new and popping and white audiences support support acts that have been around.

Look at the draw of legendary rock acts compared to the draw of legendary R&B or Soul acts.

Maybe that's why black music stays so innovative. They have to satisfy a fickle crowd.
You trying to say nikkas have a short attention span:patrice:

Lol oh man the Wu stans about to come at ya neck about how you just young and Wu get maaad love in the hood. Wu being white hipsters favorite group bothers Black Wu stans for some reason and they make up crazy arguments to deflect or undermine reality.

EDIT: WARNING FOR YOU SENSITIVE POSTERS. DO NOT PROCEED.

somebody already caught feeling over the following post.

this clown @Not The Ruler O9 up here throwing negs from his closet.

New Drink champs 1hour 25 mins in or so

This is interesting. I see a lot of people on her downplay success because "it's only cacs supporting them, it's c@c Music" etc but Raekwon is one of th realest still relevant OGs saying this. Thoughts ?

lol @ "still relevant".

Raekwon aint been relevant in 18 years.

every legendary r&b/soul concert ive seen or been to, is majority black. and that's for singers from any decade.

white audiences really just support the artists THEY LIKE. just like black audiences.

in terms of older artists, white audiences support certain legacy rap acts. usually big artists from the '90s. but go to an '80s rap review show and its mostly black.

I remember going to college in savannah during the early 90s and RAKIM and UNCLE LUKE were both performing that same night in two different venues

And unfortunately most of the blacks chose UNCLE LUKE :manny:

luke puts on a way better show than rakim.

its a no-brainer what show I would pay for.

The wu was booked to perform at an HBCU in a majority black city Savaannah Georgia but show got cancelled cause UGK was performing on that same date and the attention was on them

Method Man constantly said how the reception to him is never good in Atlanta and this is the "black mecca"

So lets cut the crap and realize that our tastes in music ha been defined by skeezers..hoes..ratchets..hot girls ....thots....and single babymamas

Whom in the words of chuck d

"Just wanna live thier life not hear all dat black bullshyt"

Stop making excuses and start holding ourselves accountable

WE DONT SUPPORT OUR OWN

youre just mad that people don't like what you like. you have a problem buddy.

how is this an example of "we don't support our own"? is UGK not apart of our own as well? and do you not realize that you were in the south? if wutang outdrew them down there, then that would be more of an example of "not supporting our own", don't you think?

i'd pay for a wutang show over UGK, but come on man. cut the chit.

It's not about money, lots of black people have disposable income. They just spend it on other things, be it shoes or clubs or whatever. I dunno why clubs are more likely to have black people in attendance for shows than a regular concert.

Lots of black people do see Future concerts tho but that will change as he gets bigger.

black people are more likely to attend concerts at clubs before arenas, because the clubs book more of the artists that we like. especially nowadays.

as long as future doesn't change as he gets bigger, and as long as his fans don't think he fell off by that point, he'll be alright. plus, he already failed at the crossover before he became as big as he is. so chances are slim that he tries to sellout again.

ALL major rap acts...ALL...have a mostly white fan base that packs their shows and purchase their music and merchandise. You can't name one MAJOR rap act that doesn't have a predominantly white fan base.

this is FALSE.

stop trying to drag everybody down with your heroes.

Nah the current Wu fanbase is very white to the point of like 95%. Young black kids don't look up to them like they do Jay, Nas, Biggie, Pac, Snoop, 3 stacks, etc. And neither do the people they're currently listening to.

its funny how you dudes always try to plug outkast into everything. knowing dam well they have no place being mentioned in most of the convos yall try to plug them in.

aint nobody looking up to no dam andre 3000 breh.

Aside from CREAM,Method Mans solo shyt and a couple Raekwon /Ghost singles, Wu Tang was never a big deal where I'm from..shyt was seen as kinda nerdy/weird tbh :manny:

nikkas was listening to Bone,Pac,Biggie,UGK,No Limit,Face,Big Mike,Snoop etc..in that era alot more than them.
